the Great Apartment Search Continues
1. The condo in the West Loop
Was a no-go. I don't make a minimum of 50,000 dollars a year so I can't rent an apartment that I can easily afford. That's logic for you. If I made that much money, I would not be renting, I would get a home loan.
2. Clark and Deming in Lincoln Park
It was okay, but kinda depressing and smelled a little funny.
But never mind them, because I've found something so much better!
Their is a unit for rent inside River City Condos in the West Loop. The building is amazing and was designed by world-renowned architect Bertrand Goldberg (he studied under Lugwig Mies Van der Rohe in Germany and designed Chicago's famous Marina City Towers.)

Yes, it's right on the river. I get a faint sense of Stendahl syndrome when I peruse the website. I'm going to see it tomorrow. Wish me luck, because I'm equally anxious, depressed, stressed and excited about moving and my stomach is shredding itself to knots.
