Will I end up okay? If everything I fear happens, will I still be in one piece? Those worst-case scenarios that stack up in my head, am I imagining them so vividly, that just maybe if they happen, it might soften the blow? Or am I just morbid?

You Are Salmon Roe Sushi

You are a hedonist, and you try to always go for the finer things in life. You like to spoil yourself.

You have expensive taste, and you're proud of that fact. You indulge yourself whenever possible.

You are a bit picky. You don't like anything that's too ordinary or plain.

You appreciate a touch of class. You always notice quality.

Have you ever kept giving something chances, and those chances keep getting blown, until finally you feel like the only thing to do is write it off completely? That's how I feel lately.

There's never anything fun going on where I live, and then all of the sudden there's an Italian Circus and an Island Carnival going on in the same week. I can't attend both AND go see Harry Potter on the 15th (I already bought my ticket, but there are other expenses involved). Not fair.

Hypothetical Question

If I had a child, would I rather they watch Twilight or True Blood?

It depends on their age. I wouldn't want my child watching Twilight at any age, because it glamorizes unequal relationships that I don't think are very healthy. Edward is controlling, etc, I don't have to rehash that, and Jacob just can't be Bella's friend, it's all or nothing. And then he falls in love with her daughter because he can't have the real thing. Ew.

As for True Blood, probably 16 or over, and that's mostly because of the violence. I think violence should be more age-restricted instead of sex. This country's views on sex and violence are messed up. A movie will get an R rating if two guys kiss, but a movie with explosions and people being shot, etc will get a PG-13.

Harry Potter can be watched/read at any age.

I'm deleting my old entries because I want to start over in this journal. So, I'm not going away, I'm just revamping.
